Even if the dishwasher is empty, my FI will set the dishes in the sink. Why oh why?! It just causes double the work. Just rinse it quick and put it right in the dishwasher! He will pile dishes in the sink, then a few hours later go back and put them all in the dishwasher. It just annoys me lol.

My SO never never never shuts drawers. It drives me INSANE. And then anytime I complain about it, he says “I was going to do it!” Excuse me? What are you waiting for? You were just gonna leave that drawer open while you go back upstairs and have a snack? Puh-lease. You were not going to shut the drawer! Admit it!

End rant.

DH is so forgetful and absentminded. When I came home yesterday, it looked like we’d been robbed. The couch was moved, the bed was moved, things had been thrown off the counters. It turns out he was looking for his keys. They were in the ignition to his company vehicle.

If he hadn’t shown up with sunflowers (my favorite flowers) and cooked me dinner, I might have been mad.

@LadyBlackheart:  My dad used to eat off my plate during family dinners.  Drove me insane.

I have no idea why this annoys me so much, but it does.  My FI adds the word “awhile” to the end of most sentences.  Like “Let’s go out to dinner awhile”, or “We should take the dog on a walk awhile”.  It is completely unnecessary to add that word at the end of most sentences!  His whole family does it too, maybe it’s a regional thing.

@LadyBlackheart:  My man eats my food too, but it doesn’t bother me. He is even learning to share his 😛

@adoc86:  I do that 🙁 FI says it is very annoying. It seems like I do a lot of things your FI does that are annoying, lol. Compulsive worrying, poor dishwasher habits, loves dessert 😛

Hmm, and now what does my FI do. I will use the example from my “I love him, but I will not ____” thread. Sometimes he leaves yucky little hairs in the sink after shaving. E-yuck. Otherwise, he doesn’t really annoy me much. Oh, he puts music too loud in the car sometimes and I feel like I could go deaf. That’s it 😀

DH can’t seem to keep the blankets straight when he goes to bed first.  I have to wake him up and yank on the covers to get more than just the edge and corner.  Ugh.

Tehehe I love these threads, don’t ask why, its weird I know!!

FI has a tendency to litter his side of the bedroom with an amazing number of 4WD magazines haha. It doesn’t bother me too much, occasionally Ill just clear them all up and put them away. The only time it really annoyed me was when he would pile as many as possible into our brand new bedside table drawers, so much so the draw wouldn’t shut and it started to bend it outta shape! He got a hiding for that one 😛

DH eats like the Beast. Mouth open, fingers greasy and touching everything. ALWAYS stains his shirts and has food all over his mouth. I love the guy, but my goal is to have him consistently chewing with his mouth closed.

^ him.

Socks everywhere constantly.

Like to wipe down the counters and then leave the wet paper towel in the sink.

NEVER knows where his wallet/keys/ipad/phone/glasses are. NEVER. But somehow I am supposed to tell him where he put them down.

He has like 10 half empty cans of spray deoderant at any given moment.

I know this may be gross but this is one of the things he does that annoys me the most.  Every morning he gets up and blows his nose so hard it sounds like a foghorn. He also does it anytime we are about to leave the house. I am just like seriously is that necessary?

He is a night person.  I am a morning person. He loves to stay up late and then sleep in whenever he has the opportunity to do so. I’ve never seen an adult seem to require so much sleep — yet, when he has to, he can get by on almost none on any given day.

We’re on vacation right now, and, for several reasons — one of them being his desire to sleep in when he doesn’t have to go to work or take care of some other obligation — we haven’t been able to get to the beach until mid afternoon (and have only been able to stay about two hours each day, given our dinner plans.) If I were on vacation by myself, I likely would be at the beach and, then the pool, most of the day, haha.

Ahhh, the compromises required in marriage. 🙂
