I didn’t want to ask my bridesmaids to purchase a colored dress that they will never wear again. I have a few of those!! So, I have asked them all to find a Little Black Dress that they love and I will find a way to incorporate their looks.
I should start by saying that our wedding is going to be a Masquerade Ball, with it being in October and all. The bridesmaids will be carrying coordinating masks instead of bouquets, but not wearing them.
I was going to purchase fuschia scarves (my colors are fushia and orange) but my mom suggested using fuschia boas instead, for a touch of fun and she thought it would look good with the feathers on the masks. Plus, they may use the boas again when they really may never have a need for the chiffon scarves/shawls.
I think this could work- pop of color, tons of fun, and they can take them off if the want to.
What do the bees think? Feather boas or chiffon scarves?

first of all i love the masquerade theme! so much fun! i think boas could be tons of fun for pictures – but i would worry about it looking too cheap? (couldnt think of a better word) for the ceremony….what sort of venue is your ceremony taking place at?
i found some pictures though that i really like with the boas
another option to add some pop of color is in the shoes (fuschia and orange)
or how about a feathered sash for their dresses – how cute is this? and in your colors!

I was thinking maybe too trashy. LOL That’s kind of where I was going with this post. Our venue is actually a giant pool room in a hotel where they put tables around the pool and we are putting lights and fountains around it. I think it could work, and then in another minute, I’m backtracking!

Then again, I do like the black boas! They wouldn’t stand out as much, so it wouldn’t be so vibrant and “look at me”, ya know?
