What kind of metal did they use to solder the rings?  If they used something different, maybe you’re allergic to that?

Have you tried cleaning it really well?  Or having it professionally cleaned?  The scientist in me says you should do a mini-experiment and wear it on your right hand and see if the bumps appear there.  If not, then it might just be a coincidence, but if you get the bumps there, it’s more likely to be the actual ring.

Sounds like, since the rings haven’t changed, it may be something from the soldering that is irriating you.  I’ve had those bumps on my ring finger twice,, both times due to humidity and moisture and swelling of my finger.  They itch a bit and I just take my ring off and they go away in a couple of days.

I sometimes get little white bumps only in the summer when I am around or in water alot. Your rings cover alot of skin and if water gets trapped it just sits on ur skin for hours. It is kinda like when your fingers prune when you are in the tub a long time but because it is a smaller area they turn into bumps. I just take my rings off for the nite and put some cream on before bed and by the next day they are gone. Thats just me, it could be an allergy.

My husband gets those on his ring finger.  His is due to sweat/moisture getting trapped under the ring.  Only thing that we’ve found that remedies this is not wearing the ring for a day or so (or, he’ll just wear it to work and then take it off when he gets home).

It could be a mild case of Dyshidrosis – which is a form of eczema that occurs mainly on the hands & feet..
