I have been reading these boards for months as I am getting married in September but this is my first post – so, hello!
My fiance and I are each getting each other’s bridal party members a very small ‘thank you’ gift. He has already gotten my bridesmaids teal (one of our colors) flip-flops from Old Navy (2 for $5!) for dancing. I am trying to think of something in the same price range for his groomsmen. Just something small but something they would think is cool and considerate. We are attaching small notes to each saying ‘Thanks for being a great friend to my groom/bride!’ I think it will be really cute!
Any ideas on what I could get the boys?
Thanks for your help!

it wouldn’t be 5$ but maybe a 6 pack of the particular groomsmen’s fav beer?

@futuremrsc28: A pocket square. A tide pen/shout wipes, for the inevitable.
Also, a condom, if you want to go for a joke, and you and they are the right sort of people. “Thanks for being so great to my groom – I hope someone’s just as great to you tonight, wink wink nudge nudge, say no more.”

I also vote for something consumable. In my experience with men, they gerally don’t need “cute” things, they just like things that are practical. You could bake them something, or buy a little treat for them to eat at the end of the night, or a tiny bottle of liquor?

@AllieBee12: I thought of the tiny bottle of liquor, but sometimes they can seem tacky, or more to the point, they might feel tacky/inappropriate if someone saw them drinking from a little bottle they had stuffed in their pocket. I’m not sure I’d really like it as a gift.
Consumable is a good idea. Some really fine chocolate perhaps, or a nice cigar. I don’t know how much a nice cigar costs, though. You can also get Jones Soda bottles customised with a picture of your choice. You could order a six pack of those and give them one each.
