I’m thinking of getting my dress here too.  Interested to see if anyone has used them…

I think if you search “China Dresses” or “Dresses from China” something like that, you will find discussion about Little Coral on these boards. From what I can remember, it was bad news.

I was in a hurry to find a dress that would fit that has sleeves, as I am plus size, 5’4″ tall and an older bride.  I custom ordered my dress from Little Coral.  It shipped out within a couple of weeks and was here shortly after that.  I guess you get what you pay for.  It fit like a glove except for the upper chest area where the dress gaped terribly in places.  Perhaps it was my body shape, I don’t know.  The back was very low cut, below the bra line, which was not identifiable from the item photo and description.  Again, my fault for not asking.  But with the low back and very snug fit there was no way to alter the dress to get rid of the gaping.  Besides all of that, the dress was shipped just folded and wrapped in brown paper wrapping, no box.  It was stuffed in with a heart shape pillow with arms.  I did not order the pillow, I suppose it was a gift but I could have done without it.  The dress arrived terribly wrinkled.  What was represented to be “beading” was in actuality sequins, which made the dress look like a costume.  The fabric was on the cheap side as well.  On the plus size, the company was very good with communicating the status of the dress and confirming measurements.  If you order, be sure to clarify what is meant by “beading”, ask for photos of the back, give more measurements than what is asked for (have a professional measure you), ask how low cut in back it is or verify any other part of the dress that is not pictured/identified and ask that the dress be shipped in a box.  Overall not a bad experience, but not the best either.  I now have two other dresses on order and desperately hope that one fits, or my fiancee and I will elope in t-shirts and blue jeans!  I could still wear my veil!

I ordered my dress from littlecoral.com and I was pleased with both the service and quality. I was never able to find my dream dress in a bridal salon.  I found one that was almost perfect on their website.

Little Coral modified the dress to my specifications. I wanted to remove the train and replace the zipper with a lace-up back. Those modifications were free. The communication was excellent.  My only complaint is that the dress was not shipped in a box. It was shipped in a plastic envelope that could have been torn during shipping.

The dress fit okay. I still need basic alterations, but I expected that.  My seamstress was impressed with the quality of the dress.

Overall I am happy with my dress. If I didn’t get it from Little Coral I would have had to get a custom made dress, which was not in my budget.
