My hubby and I will hopfully taking our long awaited honeymoon this summer (yay!).  We're thinking either Live Aqua or Couples Resorts. Both have pretty good reviews.

If you've been to either, let me know what you thought. If you'd been to both..even better...which do you prefer?!

I've never really traveled anywhere, so I'm very excited!

Hi vreelans, I actually did end up going to Live Aqua!

It seriously was the most luxurious, wonderful, relaxing place EVER!

As soon as you walk in, the peaceful atmosphere takes over. There is aromatherapy through the whole hotel, and you're greeted with a soothing hand massage.

The rooms are beautiful and bright, there are about 8 or so gorgeous pools. Staff is amazing and friendly, and the food is to die for.

On top of that, it's adults only. The reviews for this place are amazing. You really HAVE to go!

@luli29:  AH!!! that sounds soo perfect. and so similar to the website we had seen it on. i love when a review matches the vibe you get :))

we had a hard time finding what seemed to be the best website to look/book through... did you guys do it any certain way?!

http://www.liveaquacancun.com/index.html brought us to roy pro travel or something to that extent.

this place looks so heavenly. was your stay expensive?!

We booked through Travelocity. We were there in July, for 6 days/5 nights. Came out to just a few cents shy of $2,000. That includes plane, all inclusive hotel, the transportation to/from the airport and hotel, and a protection plan.

    TOTALLY worth it!
