You only need paperwork for the county in which you will be married. It doesn't matter where you live. That's why destination weddings are ok. You should be fine!

Have any of you gotten married in NY but live in NJ? Or are any of you planning on getting married in NY but live in NJ? I ask because we got our marriage license in the town where we've booked our wedding, but I'm not sure if we need to do anything in NJ, as well, or whether our marriage will be legal here.
