Thats awesome!! I'm glad you had a great day, so hopefully you don't have to wait tooo looonnnggg!!!
Patience is a virtue.....
LOL. That is so cool! I'm very happy for you! I hope he asks you before you get that job & have to travel all over the place ;)
Mr. Bee is a genious :)
Sounds like wedding bells will be ringing soon! Shortly after my FH suggested we "just look" at rings (we were at a mall one day) he proposed less than 3 months later.
Ah, What an amazing day you had deary! I hope he doesn't make you wait too long either!
Congratulations!!
Don't forget the rest of the backup plan: invest in your own interests and passions! That way no matter what happens, you're in a good place. :-) And from a selfish perspective, it will distract you from doing things that will make him less likely to propose!
Exciting news!
how exciting!! i see a proposal in your near future, fuschia!
That's awesome! I hope some of my friends will take the "plan" to heart. I definitely sent Mr. Bee's advice in a couple of emails to buddies of mine that are waiting...lol

OK so last night after reading over Mr.Bee's advice thread, I implemented the "backup plan". I went out with my girl friends for a few drinks til 2 am last night, then applied for a job that would potentially have me traveling all over the country this morning. BF seems kind of nervous after that. Anyways we went to lunch at an outdoor mall because of the beautiful weater, after that I asked him what he wanted to do and..
HE SUGGESTED WE GO RING SHOPPING!! All on his own!
Now inside my head there was a tiny little parade happening, but coolly I said, "Ok if you want to.."
SOooo yea, we went to look at rings for about 30 min and I finally got an idea of a ring I would adore in my head..and in BFs head lol. I was actually kind of nervous b/c I dont know what kind of budget he has, but luckily the ring I liked was on the lower side...It was a channel setting, 1/2 carat princess cut center stone, 1 carat total weight in white gold.
After we left he smirked at me and said, "Out of all the rings you tried on, the one you liked best is exactly the ring I would have picked for you." :))))
So according to "the plan", I shouldnt mention anymore wedding/engagement talk with him.. which is exactly what I plan on doing. The last thing I said to him after we left the store was "Now you have an idea of what to save for and such..just pllllllease dont make me wait around tooooo long." ;)
So Bees, I had a fabbbbulous day, if this is what being engaged feels like I CANT WAIT!
