I’d love suggestions as to where we should take our engagement photos (scheduled for 4/17/2013). We are open to anywhere in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas. Our wedding (ceremony & reception) will be on a ranch, so we’d like a few rustic/outdoorsy engagement photos to stick with the theme….but we’d also like some of the engagement pics to have a unique feel (a different background setting). I’m open to any and all suggestions, and I greatly appreciate any advice! THANK YOU!

Prairie Creek Park in Richardson is popular. There’s a pretty waterfall for photos also.

I know that you said rustic feel… but the Aloft in downtown has a cool vibe to it.

Deep Ellum has some really cool areas and sculptures if you want something different. Also, the new Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas is beautiful!

Mckinney actually have some cool spacious outdoor areas – and to mix it up, downtown Mckinney is cute too.
And remeber, you always have the stockyards! 🙂

White Rock lake has a ton of areas… there’s an overlook at Buckner and Peavy that is a meadowy place looking out over the lake with a killer view of the downtown skyline, there’s the bath house (with the little amphitheater outside of it), and tons of other naturey things.
Seconding Deep Ellum and the Klyde Warren Park/Arts District area.
