Monday my Dad and I are flying down to Cabo to visit the ceremony/reception site. I have found many online lists of what to ask at the location visit, but I haven’t been able to find suggestions of questions to ask at a destination wedding location.

Some of the basics are when are deposits and other payments due and how can they be paid (credit card, etc and will it be in USD or pesos)? When is the final guest count needed? Are there minimums for food and beverage (for example, is there a $10,000 min or a 20 person min. If you don’t meet the min, what will happen—-will you be charged the remaining amount or can they maybe throw in some sort of decor if you don’t meet the minimum and still have to pay it)? Must you reserve a certain number of hotel rooms and what happens if you don’t? Can you bring in your own vendors and is there a cost to do so (this usually applies to all-inclusive resorts)? Do they offer kid meals if you will have little ones for guests? Will they offer early check in or late check out if you need it? Hope those help you out a bit!
