How about the Trinity River Audubon Center? It's a lovely park in Dallas that has preserved the natural environment of the DFW area. It's outdoors but not a garden. There's also a very nice room inside the visitor center for receptions and such.
The Filter Building on White Rock Lake is nice, but it's just got one big indoor room for the reception and if it rains you'll have to have the ceremony in the same area. I love the way it looks, just wasn't comfortable with the rain plan.

I am looking for interesting and easy to reach locations in and around Dallas/FortWorth. I am looking for some outdoor locations other than the botanical gardens as well as some city locations. Any suggestions?
