Lock in wedding bands???

    HI bees!!!

     

    does anyone know what those wedding bands are called that you can put your engagement ring in the middle and it locks it in place, making th ebands and eng. ring one big ring???

    I always thought they were just called enhancers, sometimes jackets.

    I was considering getting my band made this way, when we spoke to one jeweler about it he called it a bracket. I have tried googling it but nothing comes up.

    hmm.  I have no idea.  If the bees don't know, try calling a jeweler and asking them.

    I've heard mainly enhancers and jackets.  A "ring mounting" is simply referring to the engagement ring sans the center stone... aka... the band/mounting.

    Sometimes people just buy 2 of a certain band :-)  Usually I think the ones you speak of are called "enhancers."
