To save money, we planned a long engagement and have searched second hand stores, craigslist adds, and clearance racks months prior to our wedding. Because our wedding is still not for another year, I thought it may be nice to actually let a few other brides get some use out of the items and rent them out at very reasonable (seriously reasonable) prices. But I am not sure really how to go about that — do any Bees have any advice? The good news is nothing I would rent out would be something that I would be devastated if it wasn’t returned or if it was broken, but at the same time I would like to set something in place in the event either of those things happen. Do I get a deposit? How much? Do I create a contract?
