I’ve been to all three, not all in one trip though.  Rick Steve’s of course is a great guide book.  Lonely Planet are also pretty good.  I studied for a semester in Rome and it’s an amazing city, but if you’re there only for a short time it can be overwhelming since there is so much to see.  You can pm me if you have any questions about the cities and I’ll try to see if I can answer your questions.

I’ve been to Paris and London. I have cousins who live in London, so we tend to do more local stuff with them, but have hit all the big tourist spots. In Paris, my sister and I hung out by ourselves for a week using Lonely Planet and Frommers. Both were good books — Frommers has a budget-travel spin.
