Wilson2Bee:  I think if you’re doing a full catholic mass the long dresses may be more appropriate.  I like the darker purple but I think you should go with the shade that looks best on your girls – purple can be hard to wear.

Wilson2Bee:  I am doing shades of purple also, my wedding is March 28, 2015 and dark purple is my favorite color. I have 2 girls in light purple 2 in Dark purple and my MOH in Grey/silver.  I’m letting the girls get their dresses wherever as long as it’s short and if i’m not with them they send a picture befor buying. I’m hoping to end up with 4 different shades of purple with them getting dresses form different stores/boutiques.

I like all the long options you have. They look really light and flowy so should be spring appropriate. I agree with a PP to let them all try on different colours to see which one looks best.

If your sister is pale, don’t put Her in a light color! If the second to last dress came in that color, but long… I would pick that! But the short dresses just don’t fit for a catholic wedding. .. If it was outdoor I could see short dresses.

i voted for the dark eggplant because it’s brighter then the other long dresses. But again I like the second to last dress color.

Wilson2Bee:  I think having them in different colours would be fine!  Let them wear what looks better on them.  The chiffony facbric makes them springy – if they were a heavier fabric it would feel more winter I think.

I’m doing long eggplant dresses for my wedding in May. I too, prefer darker purples, and the longer dresses are more formal. I don’t know where you live, but April is still cold here in Montréal.
