So my Fiance and I have had a long distance relationship since we got together a year and a half ago. Things have been amazing the entire time and we see each other at least once or twice a week, more if we’re lucky and our schedules work. He’s only an hour away which is nice, but it still makes things like planning and thinking about the future a little difficult. I’m a creature of nature, and I like having my comfort and feel safe where I am. I have lived in the same town for 18 years, went to college here, my family is here… and he doesn’t want to leave his town either. But we both have to give a little bit and we know that, but it still makes things a little hard. Everything in my life has been changing or will change in the next year, and it’s just so overwhelming… Getting married, graduating college, getting out in the “real world”, finding a new career, possibly moving, loans to pay back… it’s all just at once. It’s just hard to try to figure it all out, but I feel that with him, we will make it through it okay.
How have you bees handled the long distance relationship?
