Hey all, was talking earlier about trying to incorporate Long Distance into the decor of the wedding and thought I would post my inspirations here. Is anyone else thinking along the same lines?
Naming the tables after places we flew out of and stopped over in and having artefacts which are synonymous with those places
Example…Amsterdam, maybe something incorporating pinwheels and tulips.
Other places were houston, minneapolis, london, new york, paris. Still working on these!
Some general inspiration
One of the bees posted this amazing card box in the gallery! Its an amazing idea which would go great with the theme…
any thoughts would be appreciated! Ill post any inspiration as I find it

Aww that’s really cute! I know another couple that did suitcases and such for their e-pics and had a little bit of the theme for their wedding. But these look great 🙂

I’m not super hip on themes but this reads as “vintage travel” them to me. Then again, your guests know you and know you are/were in a LDR so I think it’s a perfectly cute idea! 🙂

@FrozenFeet: yeah the decor of the wedding was always going to be kinda vintage, so if it were travel related it would have a kind of vintage feel 🙂
We are doing a documentary video for before the ceremony involving our LDR and how we met and how things escalated!

Aw, it’s super duper cute. The additional pictures make me think of 1940’s wartime love letters or something.

I really want this air france poster! We like to fly by air france/delta/klm… united/continental will NOT be getting any acknowledgements!
But yes I dont want it to be “in your face”. Just subtle details. So Ill probably have a ton of inspiration and draw from it. Its not really a “theme” as such. More part of the whole experience.
