I’m doing half up half down.  I don’t think it really matters unless showing off your back is a top priority.

You could also do a low side pony…that’s really in right now and would keep your hair off to the side…

I had a strapless dress and wore a little up, but mostly down!

My hair is down to my lower back and i’m planning on wearing it down to show it off.   Maybe pulled back on the top a bit or parted on the side.  havent decided those details yet. [attachment=1143701,144412]

are you getting married outside or is it hot in may where you are?  i would let that dictate my hair cuz long hair can get hot!

My hair was almost to my butt, but I wanted it up.

It was mid-june, and it can get humid.. when it does, I get frizzy.  So frizz was the nubmer one reason, but I also didn’t want to have to worry about the curl holding well, or having it in my face w/ pictures (wind) or any other “messing with it” moments.

I saw on theknot.com that they had an article about what hairstyle goes best with your dress neckline… they suggested to wear hair down with a strapless gown (I’m guessing to break up the bareness/negative space of the no straps of a strapless gown). I was already planning on doing a half up half down style with my strapless dress but mainly that’s because I hate the look of updos and love the look of letting hair down for weddings. Plus, my mom, in her wedding pictures, had very long curled hair which she wore down… I think it’d be really cute to have a similar hairstyle for my wedding and be like my mom 😀

I think really though it’s just a personal choice about which look you like best. 🙂

I wore my hair all down with a high veil and had it twisted to a side pony for the reception. I loved it because it was the best of both worlds. My hairdresser is also a close friend so it worked out to switch styles.

It’s really up to you.  Some people have their hearts set on up-do’s, some people want nothing more then to show off their long hair, it just depends on what’s important to you!

I found this pic online searching on goolgle for long hair styles while ago and saved it in my wedding file. I’ve always imagined my self having my hair down on my wedding day and I will have it with soft curls. My dress is strapless and I already got my headpeice which will work perfect with the hair style.
