Sounds interesting.  I’m mostly skeptical, but every now and then, they hit on something that seems specific enough to make me wonder.  Some of the things they say don’t seem like they’d be researchable, so I don’t know.  I’m curious as to your experience.

Ive been read by a famous medium in the Boston area. The stuff she said was way too specific about my family member to not be real. I totally believe!!

@Bostongrl25:  Maureen?? I’ve seen her multiple times.

My FI is adamantly opposed to mediums and thinks they are con-artists. I used to be a firm believer but when we go over the readings together he makes some good points about cold and hot readings. But there are things that you sometimes just can’t explain. I don’t know! I still choose to believe that there’s more to life out there than what we can see.

I can’t stop watching her show and I almost always cry. It’s awful. I would love to have a reading but I don’t ever see that happening.

I love her. Granted she makes me want to take a file to her nails and press the volume down button whenever she talks. But I believe she’s the real deal. I remember an episode where she helped a mom and daughter communicate to their murdered daughter/sister who was killed by an abusive husband. It was pretty emotional and highly accurate. The only way it couldn’t be is if the show was fake and they’re all paid actors. I bet she’s pretty expensive.

I usually talk to psychics haven’t made the leap to mediums yet. Don’t think I could handle it emotionally .

It’s fake. It’s called cold reading. It’s a parlour trick. It disgusts me that this woman and the others like her, profit from people’s grief. Good entertainment maybe, but she should stop lying to people and convincing them what she’s doing it legitimate.

I love that show, but it makes me cry every time. I don’t think you can fake that sort of genuine emotion. I hate her nails and I hate her hair, but she has such a good spirit and seems to touch so many lives in such a positive way… I just think it’s a blessing.

There’s a part of me that says, even if it’s not real, isn’t she doing a good thing? Providing some closure to people, bringing them peace?

@HappySky7:  have you watched it? she knows things that she couldn’t possibly know by cold reading, in my opinion.

As for my opinion about her….I LOVE HER SHOW and totally think she is the real deal. If I could have one wish, it would be to have a reading with her to connect to my grandpa. I don’t think she does cold reading. The reactions on peoples faces show it all.
