He honestly does great work and has the best prices. He beat out Designs by Rose for us. And everytime we visit him to go over the arrangements (we went twice), Carmine sent us home with big bouqets of flowers, in addition, to our mock-up. And he is genuinely such a nice guy to boot!
If I remember correctly, we are having 12 centerpieces, 1 card table arrangement, 1 bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, 1 chiffon chuppah with asian lilies on top, aisle runner, and more rose petals for $1700 and he threw in all the boutinerres (sp?) for free. We are only getting flowers in season though, so maybe that kept the cost down too.

I used a great florist by the name of Rachel Cho (www.rachelchoinc.com) for my wedding last summer. I swear by her! I am an extremely picky person with very particular taste and needed to fill up a large industrial space in Long Island City and make it look like a classy reception hall on a very limited budget and this girl was amazing. not to mention that it didn't hurt that she seemed to understand how important the big day was to me as she was around my age (29!!)
Anyways, she used calla lillies, my favorite, with pops of color. It looked great!
If you have any creative friends who are into flowers, may I suggest Costco's? They have INCREDIBLE prices for wedding floral packages and they are truly delivered very fresh right to your door! They make all the BM bouquests, boutennieres, bride's bouquests, centerpieces for unbelievable prices! Check them out on www.costco.com.

Rose at designsbyrose is awesome. My budget is tiny, and she worked her magic. She's wonderful, and located in Howard Beach.

I'm also going to agree about Designs by Rose. They beat out Flower Michele for the same work. My complaint about Flower Michele is that I called 3 time to get a written proposal and John never got back to me with one! Rose has always gotten back to me within a day or two whenever I sent an email.
I used Joan Smith Flowers in Port Washington. She is excellent and so is her staff. Very modern or very classy and she is affordable. 516 767-6601
