Getting Married in 2011 (Spring or Summer) too!! I want a small wedding and would love to have and outdoors ceremony. But I dont know where to start. Is it too soon??

Margie, enough with spamming the board. Come on, I can't click on a wedding post for NYC without seeing you there?? I know you need to drum up some business but please, ease up a bit.
Anyhow, to the OP, check out Coral House. It is really really cheap and you get a lot of bang for your buck. You can pm me if you want more info.
In order to save money you will have to be flexible with your date and also if you wanted a day or evening wedding as that will play a part in your reception hall price.
Check out Foxhollow, crest hollow, and woodbury Country Club all quoted us less than 110pp (not including tax and gratuity).. Foxhollow came in the lowest... best wishes
We used an online search site for the catering service at my brother's wedding. It ended up costing about $90 for each plate, if I'm not mistaken. I can't remember the name of the service itself, but I know they deliver to the catering halls on Long Island.

I am looking to get married in either the summer or fall of 2011. I didn't realize how difficult wedding planning can be!!! Can anyone recommend a reception hall or location in nassau county where the price per plate is less than 120? We estimate the number of guests will add up to 125-150. We are looking to keep this entire wedding under 25k, does anyone have ideas on how to save money on flowers/favors/photographers etc.???? PLEASE HELP!
