What about another lip stain? I didn’t wear it for my wedding, but I really like stila’s lip stains (pomegranate and yumberry are my two favorites). I love pomegranate b/c you can really layer it up well, so I do one quick thin coat for just a bit of color and can always add gloss on top.

I wore YSL’s Rogue Pur Couture for my wedding (and have several other shades for every day – I’m obsessed w/ them right now). some of the shades are a little more sheer than others. The only thing you may not like is that it isn’t thick or tacky at all. It’s almost like a mix of a lipstain and a lip gloss. It is thin and glossy. The gloss lasts fairly well, but even when that wears away you are still left with a good amount of color. Tarte’s Lipsurgence are sheer – they’re a chubby lip pencil so you can fill in too. They have 3 different formulas: matte (I only tried one, don’t own them), the original, and shimmery (I like the shimmer the best. Glitzy is one of my go to lip colors).

The thickest lip gloss I’ve found that I surprisingly love is from victoria’s secret! Really tacky too.

@elley2012:  yes, those 🙂 and they’re pretty much tasteless. I have two and one is like a light pink shimmery one and I think the flavor is supposed to be vanilla or marshmallow or something but it just tastes LIGHTLY sweet. The other one is a sheer sparkly red that I wear over red lipstick to give it a pop and it’s cherry but again, just has a little bit of a sweet, flavorless taste. They are long lasting and there’s a good selection of colors. Let me see if I can find any pics.

Cherry bomb: (pic has instagram filter so color is a bit off and I wear a pretty light coat)

MAC Lip Glass and Lancome Juicy Tubes last the longest and are both quite tacky feeling. I have the VS lipgloss and I don’t think it last very long at all.

My favorite lip glosses are from Bath & Body Works. Cheap, taste awesome, really pretty, bright and sheer colors.

@ErinC6:  That’s Cool! Now That I Think About It It’s Better To Be Flavourless Than Taste Really Bad! lol I Like Red Glosses Which Aren’t Too In-Your-Face, I May Purchase One From eBay Yet!I Love The Look Of Cherrybomb And

The Strawberry Daiquiri Looks Amazing, Too!!

Thank You For The Picture, You’re Very Pretty 🙂

@nerdybird:  Dior Ultragloss. You can find many sheer colors and it’s not sticky, but it lasts longer than any non-sticky gloss I’ve tried.

@elley2012:  not OP, but I do like Revlon lip butters. I didn’t used to own a lot of drugstore makeup (main reason is you can’t try it on in store, however a local chain near me has a really great return policy – which I have only needed to use once). I have several shades, and they do feel great on lips. My lips have been very dry lately, and I like that they’re not all sheer. Red Velvet, for example, is a pretty decent red (although not as opaque as some of my other reds). Unfortunately, they don’t last as long as regular lipstick for me.

@nerdybird:  I’ve not had a problem with it wearing off unevenly, but I exfoliate my lips usually before i wear tehm. With stila, I often forget to apply any sort of gloss ontop so not sure if that impacts it. I really hated the Revlon version of it. As for the YSL, I think we are thinking of different products as mine is one step – there is no top coat to speak of. The one i like is this one: . In the past I’ve tried the ones with a top coat and haven’t been too impresssed. I really despised the Chanel one, I felt like my lips were peeling of in sheets. MAC’s is just okay, but when it does wear off, it wears oddly. MUFE’s is rather drying, and I didn’t feel lasted all day.

MsLobizon Thats Cool! I Would Love To Try One Of Their Peach-y Shades, The Packaging Looks Gorgeous!! No Lipsticks Tend To Stay On Me 🙁 The L’Oreal

Kiss Proof Ones Are Good, But They’re Not Sheer

@nerdybird:  Darn, sorry it didn’t work fo ryou! The price is why I only own like 6 of them, but they work well for me. I tried one of the l’oreal ones and returned it. I agree w/ you that they don’t have as good of shades, but it barely lasted on me (maybe that’s how the YSL one was on you). I know it was under $10, but it was a waste if I don’t use it.

I do like the stila ones a lot and turned on some people in my old department to them. They’re great for travel b/c you can really build up the color with the more pigmented ones (Pomegranate is my favorite) and a quick touch on your cheeks.
