I tried the longline and it was just really uncomfortable and didn't do a better job at holding me in than my spanx (which are more comfy). So I had a strapless bra sown into my dress (so it wouldn't ever show over the top) and wore spanx. It was great! I say especially if you have a corset- skip it!

I have a strapless dress that laces up in the back and I had thought that I would need a long line bra for my dress, but I know I would probably never use it again and I really don't want to spend the money on that as the ones I have seen are pretty expensive. I was thinking that I could just get a strapless bra and then my dress would suck in the rest of me by being tied pretty tight. did anyone else not wear a long line bra with their lace up dress?
