I did a lot of research and I went with Foxy Locks extensions. http://www.foxylocksextensions.com

Twice the amount of hair (I got the 160 gram, deluxe set) as Sally’s for almost the same price. They also have a youtube channel with lots of videos. I found the one that she shows all the colors helpful.

If you email them a pic of yourself outside in natural light, they will tell you what color to order. They are in the UK, but it only took me less than a week to receive mine! I am having my hair trial on Wednesday and I can’t wait to see how they look!

they are SO worth it! i got mine from sallys for $120 – in october of 2010. they are the real hair euronext remy brand. and i still am able to clip them in when i want to curl my hair for special occasions. theyve lasted so long! you may be able to cut the price down by getting shorter extensions as well. i cant remember if i got 16 or 18 inches – but i remember cutting quite a bit of them once i clipped them into my hair the first time, so i probably could have been fine with getting the 14 inch maybe.

@wifegoodman:  I am a cosmetologist and bought this brand, as well. I had heard good things about them from other stylists plus they are human hair, so you can use heat on them. You can not use heat on all synthetic hair. You can ask your hair stylist to texturize the extensions if necessary to help them blend more easily into your hair. That’s what I had to do since I have fine hair, I cut them before putting them in. I bought mine in 2010 and still have them. You can wash them and color them also. Here is a picture of me wearing them in 2010. I don’t have a before picture but I can tell you my hair was shoulder length and very fine before adding them.
