My name is Chantelle. 9 characters. The favor tag header that I want to get to staple to our lemonade favors will only allow names with 8 characters.
Will it be ok if I use our nicknames on the headers? Instead of Chantelle & Terry, it would be Channy & TJ or is that weird? I mean, our nicknames are part of our own names. Most of my fiance’s friends/family know him as TJ.
Here’s an example of what the header looks like so you can envision it.

If everyone knows you guys as that I wouldn’t see the problem. The only place my fiances name is his full name is on our formal invitations everywhere else it is Zach and Tricia.
Expecially if it is a less formal wedding I would say go for it. Those tags are really cute!

I would go eith nicknames, if your guests know your nickname, it will help you with your labels plus it will look cool and real personalized

I would say go for it, if guest are familiar with it then they will not think OMG they did not use their full names.

Have you tried to contact the vendor to see if they would allow more letters? Sometimes they can do that.

Can you not change the font size? Maybe just one point smaller may make the difference.

Go for it! If people know you by that and you like it I don’t see where the problem is. It isn’t a formal sitauation anyway where your full name would be necessary.
