Our wedding is at the end of February-in Atlanta, Ga-and I'm trying to decide to between long and short BM dresses.  What are you guys doing?

The dress color would be blue-somewhere between royal and navy.

short... i mean it depends on your formal you want your wedding to be... but i feel like bm would always prefer short dresses over long.  And I've seen sooooooo many adorable short navy dresses (i was choosing between navy & yellow... and ended up choosing short yellow!)

I'm going with short dresses. Not like REALLY short, but just above their knees!

My MOH will be a long dress...I was thinking of the same dress in knee length for my BMs, but I kind of just want them all to be long now. We're getting married in November and its fairly formal so it might be better for them all to be long. The dress will be chocolate brown. http://jasminebridal.com/J_2_1_1_1.aspx?sqno=JPN2008092510647&j_style_no=STYL20080821001&j_line_no=LINE20080821001&j_line_season=S

i originally wanted long dresses, but I think all my BM's like shorter dresses better - plus they're more re-wearable.  So we're going with tea-length dresses in chocolate brown.

Where in ATL are you getting married?  I think the formality of the venue plays into that a lot.  For example, I know someone getting married at the History Center and she's having long dresses.  But I have another friend getting married at Lake Oconee, and her's are short.

The ceremony will be at St. Jude's and the reception at the Carlyle House (in Norcross).  We decided to go with tea length in Colbalt Blue:

short... mine are wearing a navy cotton sateen dress from Davids Bridal... I didn't want it to be too formal or stuffy, so hence the short dress!
