My maid of honor’s dress is long and im planning on my bridesmaid dresses being short…will that look bad?? im trying to keep costs low and i want a “miss-matched” kind of dress theme. its a very laid back casual rustic wedding. everyone has dresses that i like and will go together, its just my Maid/Matron of Honor is long and my Bridesmaid or Best Man has a short one. also, what about weather for the short dress girls?? im planning on monogramming cardigans for the girls to wear at the reception to help keep warm. thoughts???
the wedding is in georgia on november 9th

Personally, I think having one in long and one in short will be too mismatched. I think you want the dresses to be the same length. I’m not sure about the weather… maybe look up average temperatures in Georgia at that time of year. Is the wedding outside? If inside, the temperature won’t matter as much.

Honestly, if you think they’ll need cardigans to keep warm, a short dress will be too cold. Unless by cardigan you mean Snuggie, which I doubt.

I don’t like matching long and short dresses – I think that’s too mismatched.
As for Nov 9 in the South, I just moved to SC at the end of Nov and it was in the 70s. I think it depends on which part of GA you’ll have your wedding (closer to the coast? Probably cooler). I would say you’re probably looking at 60s-70s, but I’m no expert!
