I thought about getting a long sleeve dress; sadly the shop I visited had very few to try on and I ended up falling in love with a cap sleeve one. Hope to see some pretty long-sleeved gowns in this thread! I think it’s such an elegant and classic look.

@eecuadrado:  Long sleeves are really coming back.  I think the 2013/2014 brides are just in front of the trend.  Most salons didn’t have much for me to try on by way of sleeves either.  I was super disappointed.

When there’s still about 2 hours left of reception I’m going to change into my mom’s dress.  It’s gorgeous.  I can’t wait.

@eecuadrado:  Aire Barcelona has a lot of beautiful lace overlays that go down to the floor that you can wear and it looks as if the sleeves are natural.

I don’t know if they are still available or discontinued, but there were a couple of Legends by Romona Keveza dresses with long lace sleeves.  I think a bunch of designers were selling dresses with long lace sleeves after the royal wedding, but now they are mostly disconitnued.

There were a couple long sleeve dresses in the new cosmobella line.  They are beautiful and I envy them.  If I weren’t getting married in July on a city with crazy hot summers I would probably wear one

I’ve always loved the sleeves on this Ellis Bridal dress.  I tried it on but it didn’t work at all with my broad shoulders 🙁
