My wedding will be an out door wedding in August (not until 2015..I know I know..but it’s never too early to start planning/thinking…) However, the warmest it tends to get, even in the summer in Half Moon Bay, CA is about 67 degrees. I have always loved the look of a long sleeved gown, and this location may be the perfect excuse to wear one! I think they are classic and lovely. Does anyone have any particular dress suggestions? I don’t want anything TOO high-cut because I want to wear my vintage pearl necklace my mom gave to me for my 16th bday. 🙂 Thanks Bees!

I had 3/4 length sleeves… it was sooo hot on the day though. I was absolutely wilting by about 7pm and had to change!

@XmasBride2014: I wore a 3/4 length chiffon dress on my June wedding day in Indiana. it was unseasonably cool that day at 75…but the week prior it was 90 degrees. so, i got lucky
i think long sleeved would be great in chiffon or lace but probably not satin.

@XmasBride2014: to help with suggestions. what is your budget? white or ivory? reg size, petite or plus size?

@XmasBride2014: I love half moon bay! Oceano Hotel was our 2nd choice, but DH really wanted the venue we ended up at over in Pleasanton. I think that because it’s the kind of high 60s that doesn’t feel very warm at all, and isn’t humid, you’ll be just fine with long sleeves!

I am thinking more off-white ivory…something lighter(material wise)..I am a size 8. Nothing toooo stuffy or formal! 🙂
