Also, think pretty much anything Jennifer Aniston has ever worn down a red carpet, her hair is always straight and down

<br />My hair doesn’t hold curl well either, and I’m trying to figure out some hairstyles that might work too. I like the ideas posted so far, but I don’t have any good ones of my own yet!

If you don’t have them already, I think highlights would look great. It’d add some life to long and straight hair.

Mrs-mcm-0507:  Yes! I understand completely. I haven’t found that yet. I’ve found some I like, but then I’m like, “yeah, my hair will never hold that” I have found that when it comes to basically everything else I’ve planned. I haven’t worried about it a ton since it’s still about another 10 months until my wedding. But I swear my hair has a mind of its own.

Mrs-mcm-0507:  Haha, I’m the exact same way! I have had the same “hairstyle” (and I use air quotes because it’s not really a style at all, it’s just long and dark brown) since high school (so for 10+ years). I’m sure you’ll find something perfect! Google and Pinterest are your friends!

I wanted to find some inspiration images for you, so I googled “wedding hair down mantilla veil” because that style veil lends itself well to wearing your hair down (especially for a brunette). I didn’t not so much find straight hair for you. Most girls had some curls going on. But I found this giant poofy mess and it really brightened my day. Enjoy!!! hahahahaha

The waterfall braids are beautiful, but it’s good to have a backup option in case it’s windy. Wind will destroy it and make you look like a hot mess. So your backup option could be something like half-up half-down. Check out Pinterest. There’s TONS of bridal hairstyles on there. I’ve compiled my own board but it may or may not have anything you like ’cause I’m a fan of curls: http://www.pinterest.com/angellc22/wedding-hair-makeup/
