Weddingbee boards

Hello Ladies! I've been MIA for the last few months or so but I felt it was best to back away from my obsessive wedding lurking waiting posting self and re-examine my relationship with the boy...haha NOT! I did take a break from posting here on the waiting site but I actively check the site and boards on a daily basis. I've missed everyone and all the exciting anticipation so much that I decided I would jump back in.

Update: Now for the low down, the boy still hasn't proposed but I know it's coming soon. I found a ring on Ebay that I really thought I loved and we bought it but before it could come in I found THE ONE! I had been wavering back and forth about the Ebay ring just because I was still so hung up on my grandmother’s ring. I love antique jewelry and being that I already inherited a princess ring from my mom's side I don't really think a ring that isn't antique would go with my jewelry. My grandmother's ring is gorgeous and my dream ring! Well anywho on my way to work one morning I heard on the radio that a local jewelry store was going out of business and everything was on sale...so being the engagement ring obsessed girl I am, I ventured in one afternoon. While perusing the cases I came across a ring that looked very similar to my grandmothers, except for some slight differences. I asked to look at it and the tag price was $3,500, so very reasonable. The main stone was a .46ct with one baguette on each side. And the bonus was that it came with a matching band that had three baguettes on it. I told the jeweler to hold it and I would be bringing the boy back to look at it. Well turns out that with the discount, the price dropped from $3,500 to $750!!! Holy poo! Amazing right? And that also included them sizing it down for me!

Well now I'm pretty sure that the boy has gotten it by now and he's just enjoying torturing me. We have plans for the next couple of weekends then a two week break and the plans again with my family. I have no idea when he will do it but I do know that it will be tricky because he has to talk to my parents. Dad will be no problem because he lives locally but my mom lives 2 hours away and he really wants to ask her in person sooooo.....I don't know how he'll get down there without me knowing but oh well.

I just wanted to pop back in and say hello and give an updated scoop on what’s been going on. Can't wait to catch up with you guys!

@Lauren1018: Thank you so much! I'm really excited about the ring I found because not only is it a bargain but its also very similar to my grandmothers and at the same time different enough to be mine!
