I just wanted to know if its OK for one mom to wear a long gown and the other a short dress.
My mom thinks long is more suitable for mothers while my Fiance mom think short goes better with our wedding

It’s fine. At least that’s what our moms did 🙂
My moms tiny, long dresses look absolutely ridiculous on her. His mom is super tall and short dresses are just too short. They were both happy.

My mom wore long and DH’s wore short. It really doesn’t make a difference… at all.

Our moms are both wearing long gowns. I think it would look a bit lopsided for one short, one long.

My mom wore a short cocktail dress; his mom wore a long skirt-and-blouse set that hit at her ankles. It was fine.

It’s fine for them not to match dress lengths- your Mom’s should be the more “formal” of the two, which it sounds like they’re planning on, anyway.
