Whatever you do DO NOT try Cover Girl Outlast. It will dry the snot out of your lips...and only lasts half as long as you'd like
Try BeneFit silky finish lipsticks! They glide on SO SO SO smooth, and wear for the longest time! Mine usually stay on for a good 3-4 hours! They are so silky and smooth that they don't even feather out towards the end of the application!
Ever try a lip stain? I have that issue also with lipstick coming off. I heard lipstain stays on for a long time. I bought some from Laura Mercier, though haven't worn it yet.
I've stopped wearing lipstick for years now and I only wear lipstains - they last for so long! I put it on in the morning and I only sometimes have to reapply after lunch. I can say good things about Benefit, Sephora, The Body Shop, The Balm, Vincent Longo and Urban Decay lipstains.
@kermie: Haha - alas... that was one of my many errors in buying judgment.
Also .. Maybelline super stay, which claims to not flake or dry out? Yeah... Crap.
@Sassygrn: I have some lipstains, but they aren't the best quality :-P I'll pick up a professional grade stain and see if that makes the cut.
Thanks Bees, for all the advice!!
I second the lip stains. They are more natural looking too. BUT if you want more impact buy a really nice gloss.
MAC has a really good long wear lip gloss but I can't remember what it's called off the top of my head

I'm desperate *lol* I'm about ready to get my lips tattooed... I need to find a longwear lipstick that ACTUALLY works. Every one I've bought so far has failed me and that's not a good thing when you're wearing bright, obnoxious, in-your-face red lips for your wedding day.
I need a non-flaking, non-rubby off, non-crap lipstick :-( STAT!
