I live in Los Angeles, but am getting married on Longboat Key, Florida, in October.

I have a list of vendors from our venue, but they didn't have much for places to get hair done, or stylist. I was going to have my stylist here fly out, but she's now pregnant.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions? I am worried I wont' be able to find someone who is up to date with the latest styles.

Any advice would help.

I'm not positive how much this will help, I live in Sarasota but just get my hair cut, etc. when I go home to visit my parents, but I have heard from others about places that are good in general for hair.

I would recommend calling Spa Hollywood. The people that work there are kind of edgy, but the clientele is definitely upscale and I doubt they give everyone crazy hair:
