Hi all, I’m sturggling to find a dress that is shorter but with sleeves…I want to avoid the self conscious issues I have with my arms. I’ve lost 80 lbs in the last year and 100 the year before..so even with moderate toning I still have some flabby ugly arms.
I know I will most likely be the only person who notices them, but I’d prefer to be comfy and I like that style as our wedding has a late 50s early 60s feel to it; however I have learned the princess style 50s/60s style dress makes me look bigger- damn hips. I’m a size 12/14 for reference in wedding dresses I’ve tried on.
The last caveat I have is price range- I’d like to stay at or under 500.
Here are my two favorites- anyone else have any ideas of where to look because I’m really at a loss.

I bought the exact same Mia Elizabeth dress from lace affair(the call it whole lotta lace dress) for $79 but its on sale now for $39!
I’m just going to cut the hem to make it even and maybe open up the back. I’m a size 14 and the large fits perfect. I’m also going to add a beaded belt.
thought I would pass it along since ruche charges too much for it.

Even though you’re not really plus size, have you thought about trying Kiyonna (plus size retailer)?
They start at size 10-12 in street sizes, so probably you’d need to have their smallest size taken in a bit.
Here are some:
