I’m looking for a strapless longline bra that is cut for a very low back–as low as the Monique Lhullier Scarlet–AND that has some padding and extra push (since I’m very small upstairs and my dress is pretty loose for me in the bust).

I don’t know what a longline bra is… but, my dress has a very low back and I got a self adhesive silicone backless bra. It’s supposed to arrive in the mail today I’ll have to let you know how it is 🙂

I second adhesive bras. Victoria’s Secret has a really good push-up one, it called the “invisible pushup” or something like that.

I’m actually having my long line bra altered (crazy) to work for my dress. The self-stick jobs wouldn’t work for me. 🙁 It’s been one ginormous P.I.T.A. I didn’t even know they’d alter bras but I got it at a specialty store in the Boston area (Lady Grace) and they do alterations as well as custom bras.
Maybe there’s something similar in your area? I had zero luck when shopping at Victoria’s Secret nor any of the big dept stores (Nordy, Bloomy’s, Lord & Taylor, Macys, JC Penney, etc.). It’s been so exhausting. Ugh.

I found a specialty lingerie store locally. I’m small-chested, but want something that will help me fill the big gap in the bust of my dress because right now it looks like I’m a kid borrowing my big sister’s dress!! I may also need something pinned or sewn into my dress, along with some padding/support/push-up action. I’ll look into the silicone adhesive variety. Bella, let me know how yours is!

I found a picture of what I think is your dress, and I think you’re going to have a really difficult time finding a longline bra that cuts that low (unless you are having the dress altered). My dress isn’t as low cut as yours in the back, and finding a bra that doesn’t show in the back has been almost impossible. EVERYTHING shows, it seems. I have a bodysuit on order that I’m hoping will work, but I’m not sure. Hope you get your situation sorted out!

If you can get away with it, just have breast cups sewn directly into the dress. It’ll add a cup size and also make the bust snug enough that no bra will be necessary. (That’s what I’m doing.)

im getting bra cups sewn in too and she is making the bust a little bit tighter to secure it. 🙂 good luck.

Hey! I got it in the mail today and tried it on and I really like it! It has a little bit of padding and pushes them up nicely haha. I got it on ebay for less than $10 just search “silicone backless bra”
Good luck! 🙂

@Bella13: Thanks for your follow up. I am purchasing one off ebay too and it sure beat Victoria Secret’s $70.
