    Hi hive!I have two weeks til my fitting(not at the bridal store...) and I have NO IDEA what to wear under my dress. I am really starting to feel very overwhelmed by the options too :-S

    What do you bees suggest? I don't want it to be visible, I'd like a boost for the boobies (I'm a 32A) and have been religiously working out all my (long!) engagement, I have some hangups about my love handle area. With the dress you can't really tell, but I know my insecurities (please be kind--I've recovered from an eating disorder, but I still struggle) and I want to make sure I FEEL pretty on my wedding day.

    What do you bees suggest I wear? Feel free to include links! I've considered spanx, the felina lightweight longline bra, and the new shapewear slip from victorias secrets. I welcome all suggestions!!

    You don't look like you need spanx at all. Can they sew cups into your dress that you could then put cutlets in to give you a lift? Otherwise I think a longline bra with some padding would be a good idea. Sorry I don't know the names of any good ones.

    That dress looks great on you!  Are you wearing anything under it in the pic?  I would either suggest cups sewn in (great, idea, PP!) or a bra (maybe just strapless?  I have not met a long line bra I like), whatever would be comfortable for you and not show under the dress.  Victoria's Secret bras are comfortable to me (36A/34B).  The benefit of cups would be that they wouldn't show at all no matter what you did.

    As for the bottom, I don't think you need spanx!  Maybe a slip to add another layer to keep you from sweating on the dress itself--maybe with crinoline at the bottom to add some poof if you wanted?

    I hope we can get some brand name-savvy bees to help you out!

    Uhhh... you look AMAZING!!  I don't think you need spanx.... but if you insist, maybe a light hold slip would help you feel pulled together?

    I just had cups sewed in, and a seamless G string. You have a tiny frame and the dress looks great. Spanx can be quite uncomfortable, plus I dont know whether they would make them small enough.

    aww thanks, bees. you guys are the best.

    @Looopy: i was wearing a longline bra that the salon gave me, a 3/4 lenght one i think.

    what is supposed to be the benefit of a longline v. normal strapless? any suggestions for either?

    You look great! I agree with the cups idea. :) Oh, and longline I believe has a longer waist, so more support (and also squeezes in the waist). I don't think less busty gals really need them.

    Hi!! I am also smaller framed, but still self conscious about a few places... This is what I'm ordering:

    I think I may also order spanx just to compare on the day of my fitting & see what works best.

    @JamieAnnette:OOOhhh! that looks perfect! I have been searching for a bra for my trumpet style dress forever! Do you know if the one you are getting has garters like the one with straps? My dilemma with a bridal bra is that it has to have ALL of the following: ooomph for the boobies (i'm a 34B), body shaping/no seems showing (tight mermaid/trumpet dress), and still be somewhat sexy for the wedding night? thats why I was wondering if this one had the garters or not?

    @JamieAnnette:

    So, I tried on the victorias secret longline strapless slip and HATED it. It did absolutely nothing for my chest area and the skirt bottom had an elastic band sewn in that really dug into my thighs...not very comfortable. Also, the material it was made out of had me feeling hot just in the store, I can't imagine wearing that under my dress in the summer. I ended up purchasing one of their excellent strapless bras and am wearing a body shaper. This is not the sexiest choice, but it was the most flattering and comfortable.

    @newusernametonotgivedressaway: I would get cups sewn in . I understand about the love handles, I have a modified mermaid and even though it has the ruching that sucks everything in I am still overly conscious about my love handles. If your worried about it  I would either go with spanx or a fit and flare crinoline if you want your dress to have more pouf. my fit and flare crinoline does a spanx's job b/c it goes up to right under my bra and sucks everything in. David's bridal has one for only fifty bucks :)
     I can post a pic of mine under my dress after my first fitting this saturday if ya wish :) Our dresses are similar and we are similar in size also  I believe .

    @Emmaberri:  Which longline Victorias Secret did you try that did not give you a bump in the bust area?  I am considering ordering this one:

    http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss/Satellite?ProductID=1265421601232&c=Page&cid=1297687983107&pagename=vsdWrapper

    I love the VS Very Sexy bras, but this one doesn't look like it pushes up enough so wondering if it's the same one that you got?

    @jholler25:

    That is the exact one that I tried on...except in white. I ended up getting the the very sexy strapless bra (which helped give me some boobs :) and the embracer waster cincher, both in nude. I feel like that combination ended up being the most comfortable and flattering.

    Very sexy strapless bra

    I did try on the miraculous bra, which REALLY gave me boobs but I thought almost too much! It seemed like it added two cups sizes which had me worried if I would fit into my dress at all. Link below.

    Hope this helps.

    @Emmaberri:yeah, i tried to order the very sexy and the miraculous to try them both out, but the very sexy is not in stock in my size. i'm afraid the miraculous works a little TOO well for my taste too. how would you compare the very sexy to it? maybe it'd be worth getting it in a different color...

    @cartascartas:

    Which color are you trying to order? White? When I went in, I was looking for everything white, but the ladies advised me that I should really have nude colored bra and underwear for the wedding dress as this will not create a distinct line against your skin that may or may not be visible if the light hits your dress just right. Made sense to me after thinking about it. After trying this on with my dress, I think that white or the nude color would have done the job just perfect. I like the very sexy bra, it has water/gel push up pads that give me the perfect amount of oomph! Still pushes you up but not like the miraculous.
