Hoping someone can help me here. My dress came in to the bridal store in November so I went to try it on. The bridal salon person put me in a longline bra because I only had a traditional strapless bra that would show in the back. I was surprised how much I liked the longline bra (gave me great shape) and am now thinking of buying one for the wedding.
Did you/will you wear a longline bra under your dress? Any reccomendations of where to buy a good one?
For ladies who are married, was the longline comfortable? Did it move and start showing at some point?
If you think longline cras are a bad idea, let me know of better options. I am also attaching a picture of the back of my dress so you can see that I need something pretty low cut.

I’m interested in seeing if the bra works as well – my dress cuts down pretty low in the back too, and I don’t think that getting bra cups sewn into my dress will do… I need the support haha.

I’m wearing a le mystere bridal bustier (longline) under my dress. Its a little more expensive than some others, but very comfortable and the boning is hidden so it won’t show through the dress. If you do buy one, try it on! Some of the cheaper ones have thicker boning that will show through a dress.

Don’t laugh but I got mine off of the Home Shopping Network’s website. I forget Googled and it’s called Dr. Rey shapewear. I read the reviews and baded my size on others comments and it fits really well. I tried it on under my dress and it is super comfortable and smooth and a bit longer than other brands I’ve tried on previously. To be honest, I had no idea if it would fit, I ordered it because it had good reviews and it was on sale but I am really happy with the purchase.

I just found one on eBay for $24, shipping included. It’s a Lilyette one… I’ll let you know how it goes 😀

Thanks for the suggestions! I will have to check out both kinds that yuo guys suggested. Oh and slicey that is too funny about the HSN, but hey if you found a great bridal bra that’s all that matters!

Victorias Secret has a bra you can wear like 100 ways. My sister has one and she wears it with a dress that has a back like that. she has large boobs too (like D’s) and the support is great. You could try that?

When I was in high school, I bought a stick-on bra to wear with my backless prom dress. It worked pretty well. I got it at Victoria’s Secret.
