I had my longline bra sewn into my dress. I wouldn’t want just cups because te longline really smoothed everything out.

@MissTexasFire:  i actually bout a longline and don’t lke it. It makes me look bigger in my hipsmthn I usually am. I am going to talk to alteraions about putting cups in and if it is even a viable option.

I don’t even know what a long line bra is, is that like a corset bra? I did the cups and it was awesome.

I wore a longline and wish I had it sewn in or had cups sewn in. My dress kept sliding down showing my bra. It was super annoying and awkward having to keep pulling up my dress all night.

Well, I had plenty of support with the cups, but I’m a C, not a DD :). I did have to pull my dress up a lot but part of that was because I wouldn’t let her tighten it as much as she wanted because it gave the dreaded back and armpit fat. Since it wasn’t as tight as she wanted, the cups probably didn’t provide me as much support as they could have otherwise. So I think it depends on the dress. If you have a dress with boning that will already be tight and you add the cups, you might be ok, she can stick cups in it while you have the dress on. If you wnat the added structure of a bra then you would want to get a long line.

Have you tried the dress on with one or the other? When we figured out mine, she put the cups in while i had the dress on so I could see if that was ok. Either way you want to decide before they do any alterations
