I finally made it up to MD to go dress shopping with my mom, MOH, sister and friend (who are bridesmaids) and it was unanimous. I went with the first dress I tried on at the first dress shop we went to. We ended up canceling the appointment we had at the next shop since we already found THE DRESS. Of course, I tried on the rest of the dresses we had picked out just to make sure, but none of them had the same POP/WOW/YESSS factor that the first one did.

I paid in full. I bought the veil, too. I didn't even sleep on it, but I know I needed to find a dress that weekend so I didn't care. I LOVE THIS DRESS!!

The only thing, however, is that I ended up paying more than I was originally expecting to spend on a dress, and I didn't shop around to find out if it was cheaper elsewhere. I could have been royally screwed (actually, I'm pretty sure I was. It was a bridal shop after all...). My decision has been to not even attempt to look up pricing for this dress (and potentially find it cheaper somewhere else), as it wouldn't change the fact that I already bought it. What's done is done, and I'm fine with that. No use crying over spilt milk, or in my case, finding a completely amazing dress! haha

We also found a bridesmaid dress there, about which I said, "I want the BM dresses to be this color, but not *this* dress..." (I probably scrunched my face up in an obvious display of how I felt about it) And everyone agreed. ...Until MOH tried it on. She put it on to get an idea of how the color would look and wouldn't you know it, the BM dress was ROCKIN. My sister and friend also tried it on and it looked great on everybody, and everyone was a different shape. It was the sort of dress that as soon as you put it on it instantly puts a smile on the face of whomever is wearing it. AND IT HAS POCKETS!! 

I was absolutely beaming seeing them in this happy, yellow (*ahem* "citronella"), swishy dress. I swear THERE IS NO WAY ANYTHING CAN MAKE ME UPSET ON MY WEDDING DAY WITH ALL THESE HAPPY YELLOW DRESSES AROUND ME. :)

We were not allowed to take pictures at the shop of the dresses, but my wonderfully sneaky little sister snagged a few on her cellphone, and I didn't know it until later. The color is a bit off, though. The BM dresses are a brighter yellow than they appear in the cellphone pics, but not as bright as the dress is pictured on the Watters website. Without further ado:

I'm so in love with that style of dress!!  Mine is kinda of like it but with no lace.  Lace is so romantic.  Congratulations on a successful shopping expediation:)

One thing I loved about this dress was how light and airy it felt to wear. It is perfect for June. I can't wait. :)

i am biased cuz i love lace dresses! plus, the dress looks so romantic on you!
