We are doing a love/wine box ceremony. After finding my Love Box I decided I wanted to personalize it with rub-on stickers. When FI and I went to pick them out, he said that he could do it himself- I had no idea he could do calligraphy! So, I decided to let him try it, and what do you know- he did a great job!
My favorite part of wedding planning is having FI help with things, I love it!
What do you think?

It looks amazing! What a great talent to find out that your FI has. He did a great job with the calligraphy. I’m curious–What is a love box?

Gorgeous! Beautiful idea 🙂
Btw, I’m none the wiser on what a love box is, either…

That looks great! So i guess he didn’t choose to “reveal his talent” until after all of the invites were sent out?? Or does he have a big stack of envelopes to address now??

A Love/Wine box is an alternative to the unity candle or sand pouring thing. Inside the box will be two wine glasses and a bottle of wine. Then FI and I will be writing eachother love letters before the wedding and during the ceremony we will each place our love letter inside the box and seal it. The officiant will state what we are doing so the guest are not confused. Then my favorite part- we will be opening our love box on our 1st, 5th, or 10th (I haven’t decided yet) anniversary, we will read eachother the love letters and drink the wine. If you google love box ceremony, or do a WB seach, you can find detailed information on it.
Here is my love box inspiration picture.

@xx_ambyrr_xx: LOL, my thought exactly. When I found out about this talent I said “Good, you can address all of our invites!” He was not so happy with that idea 🙂

@FallBride100111: That’s really sweet. I think the act of reading each other’s love letters to one another throughout your years together is especially beautiful 🙂

Date twin! How special for the two of you, I’m imagining every time you see the box you fall in love a little bit more with your FI 🙂 Love love love!

He’s got talent! What a neat keepsake too!

I thought the wine box was for when the road was getting bumpy and divorce was a possibility. Then you open the box, read the notes, drink the wine, and everything’s better haha
But that sounds so much cuter 🙂

Love it! We did this too and I’m so excited about it!
We did ours a little different though. First, my husband doesn’t drink so– no wine! We just called it a love letter box ceremony. Also, instead of waiting to our 5 year to open it we’re going to make it a tradition that on every anniversary we’ll read last year’s letters and write letters for the next anniversary. I love the idea that our grandkids will some day find a book of love letters written to each other every year of our marriage 🙂
