    Hmm.. that's different.

LOL @ the mental image of my great aunt, who can't even manage a cell phone, trying to use this!

That is cool, although I'm assuming they pull in big $$ when guests order prints.

Seems a little too complex for me personally...I'd rather have the old fashioned, stand there and press a button booth.

I can't even begin to imagine how expensive this is.

ETA:  Ah yes, last year it was $999 and had to be 30 miles from Orlando :)

I'd love to do this but I'm guessing this is not in our budget lol. I'm super jealous of anyone that even gets a photobooth!

Haha - we are doing this, but on the cheap!  So bees who think this s cool but out of the budget - listen up!  We have a digital camera and a little "photo printer" (dad got one when he bought his camera).  We are only buyng fresh ink and photo paper....not to expensive.

I have a few guests...my one cousin to be specific.....who is excited about coming but a bit shy and will only know her a few people at the wedding (us, my parents, my sisters, her dad, and her sister).  So, she is going to go around taking photos of the guests during the reception - very casual....this gives her an excuse to meet new people!  After she takes the photos, she will print out a copy of each photo for the guests on our little printer.

I don't know how this will turn it - it could be that she may end up not taking too many photos and we are really ok with that....but she is the type of person that will have more fun if she has a "job" to do.  So it seems like it will be a win-win for everyone, and we will get personal photos of everyone at the wedding!

Its cool but I think the original photobooth is a bit more user-friendly/easier for most guests, especially, or older people

Oh nice! Most of our guests are tech-savvy and use social media heavily, so this might be worth it.

@Rock Hugger: Check the printer specs - it might take a really really really long time to print out all those photos.

I'm jealous!! I want one!!! LOL.. I'm guessing that #1. Not in our budget.. and #2. Not in VT... We tend to get things a little later than the rest of the world...Haha...

@rock hugger : I think its a great idea! Let us know how it goes !! I just may need to borrow that one ;)

I've worked with an outfit called customincredibles.com  It's always a big hit.  A pro walks around and takes the group "photobooth pictures" they get loaded into a giant touch screen where guests can email them, post on facebook, or get a FREE 8x10 print in about 20 seconds.  It's pretty slick.

Anyone used this? I wonder how good the pictures actually are.  It doesn't look like it uses a pro DSLR camera and I don't see any samples on the site - just a bunch of Clip Art / stock photos.

Anyone get a price quote?  Neat idea, wonder what the cost is.

Wow.. it sounds exciting, but in my opinion overpriced for what it does.. I'd rather make someone walk around with a camcorder and upload the videos/photos later :D

For those of you looking for a photobooth, but don't want to spend the cash to have one--we did ours by ourselves! We paid $50 for the software, used a webcam, computer, and printer that we already owned. And put fresh ink and paper in the printer--guests left us one strip of their photos and they kept the other strip! I think I spent more money gathering props than I did on the software, paper, ink etc...and it was a HIT!
