So got back a little while ago, we ended up seeing 9 (one isn't going to sell and the other won't be ready until Monday so we will go back then).
There were a few that were completely horrible and I crossed off the list right away, there were a couple that were good/okay and there is one that I really like a lot but there is a bit of water damage in the retaining wall but hopefully that isn't too serious since that's what a retaining wall is for.
Wow that is a lot of houses to take in and process in a few days!! Have fun!! I hope that you find what you are looking for.

I am glad you liked some of them :) Hopefully the damage isn't to extensive because retaining walls can get expensive depending on how big they are. Are you having fun?

I hope it wouldn't be too much work, it's only a couple bricks tall.
Oh you should be fine then but it sounds like you may need a curtain drain to divert the water so you never have that issue again. I am a huge believer in preventing issues :)
My brother would laugh at my excavation projects. We bought a backhoe attatchment for our skidsteer and first I diverted all the water away from the house then resodded. Then I decided I wanted a pond so I dug one and diverted all the water back there then resodded. Then I dug up the lawn yet again to run lines from the pond to my garden to water my plants then resodded. My defense is that he hogged all the trucks when we were little so I never worked that bug out when I was young. :P Tearing up the yard is very therapeutic! I highly recommend it :D
I didn't realize you hubby wasn't with you. It is always more fun when shared with someone else. I hope you find the perfect house for you. Though I vote the one with the retaining wall so you get to dig too! :p
