Weddingbee boards

Overall, I have to say most things went pretty well on our wedding day.  The venue and the DJ were all big hits and the centerpieces and flowers were beautiful.  People danced all night and we got compliments from several guests saying that ours was the most fun they had had at a wedding.  That said, there is so much buildup for it to be "The Perfect Day" and there were certainly a few things that would have made the day more "perfect" in retrospect!

The main things that I would have done differently --

-hair & makeup (they looked good in the mirror but I am not sure that I love how they came out in photos - still waiting on the professional pics though)

-exercised more (back fat... yeesh)

-cake (in real life it didn't look as good as I had envisioned, although remarkably it has come out looking great in photos.  The flavor however was AMAZING.)

-toasts (my sister/MOH is terrified of public speaking, there was no best man, and then we were disorganized about asking anyone else so only MIL gave a toast)

My husband says that we should have given people maps on how to get from the church to the reception.  This didn't even occur to me since we had maps on our website that they could have printed, also the people that got lost all have computers and know how to use google maps so what were they thinking in not bringing the map with them?

Anyway, if you could change things that happened on your wedding day, what would you change?  Do these little things still bug you at all or no?
