If you're planning a honeymoon or vacation for the end of May consider Great Exuma, Bahamas. My fiance and I put a deposit on the most beautiful cottage in Great Exuma for the end of May. We were so excited, did so much research, and fell in love with the island. Just yesterday there was a family crisis that will prohibit us from going to the Bahamas. We are completely devastated. The only way we can get our deposit back, is if it is rented during our time. The cottage is FULLY stocked, and is on a private beach, with a private pool. Just thinking about it makes me cry. :( I want to go so bad! It's a great price for what you get. Exuma is one of the out-islands of the Bahamas, and is not touristy like Nassau and Great Bahama. Most of the islands natural wonders (beaches, caves, etc.) are unspoiled, and make for great snorkeling, diving, and touring. Several James Bond movies, and tons of other movies are filmed on Exuma every year. It looks like we're going after all! My fiance's parents decided to pay for the rest of the trip, that my family couldn't afford right now. We feel so blessed! :)
