Cobblestone Farms is a beautiful location in Ann Arbor and is frequently used for weddings!

Woldumar Nature Center has a barn
Blue Dress Barn and Mill Creek Barns are about 2 1/2 hrs away
I am also looking for a barn or rustic venue but I want to have 250 people within about 1/2 hr of lansing and neither of these fit the bill (too small or too far away!)
You should tried Eesley Place in Plainfield, outside of Kalamazoo! It is gorgeous and was the runner up when we were looking for a venue. We loved Blue Dress Barn but it and the Mill Creek Barns were booked for all of 2012, except for Friday and Sunday weddings. Eesley Place is GORGEOUS. I cannot say enough great things about the place but with most of our guests coming in from out of town the location wasn't ideal so we ended up picking a place in Grand Rapids since there is an airport close by. If that is not a problem, then check it out. I have a ton of pictures of the place I took myself when we did a site visit. Feel free to message me and I'll send them your way. It was all set up for a wedding so you really get the feel for the place. Here's one shot I took:
We also looked at Post Family Farm in Hudsonville, which I would not recommend unless you were going for a more rustic (and by rustic I mean run down) look and feel. Good luck in your search!!!

I am looking for a venue for my reception and ceremony. It needs to be in Michigan. Preferably withing an hour from Lansing but I am flexible on city. Any help would be appreciated.
