What do you like? Classical? Modern? Singing? Instrumental? Nerdy?
It was beautiful. I used the one song for the entire processional and entered near the end where the music swells. It gave me goosebumps the first time I heard the song and I knew it was perfect! See what you think~
I got married in a Catholic Church – so I think I was only able to use certain songs. But I always wanted to use “cannon in d” so that’s what I used. It was beautiful. Love that song
sweetpea3363: I actually was considering just that! The only thing I am hesitant about is that my fiance’s brother got married two years ago, and that song was their first dance (but the one by christina perri) do you think that would be weird? Or is it ok since its for the procession?
My bridal party is coming in to Clair de Lune by Debussy, and I’m coming in to Cannon in D. We’re leaving the wedding to a Everything by Michael Buble.
This post had a lot of beautiful songs.
rbhs117: I’m using what sweetpea3363 suggested for my girls to walk into (6 girls) and than my fiance found a ukulele verson of pachelbel’s canon in d to walk down the asile to. I love the song but my fiance doesn’t like the original, thought it sounded too much like Christmas haha so he’s big into the music and found something we both loved. I definitely second the recommendation of Vitamin String Quartet songs if you wanna find a good amount of instrumental songs. Hope ya find what you are looking for 😀
I think we just decided tonight that I’m walking down to Transatlantisism by Death Cab For Cutie done by the Vitamin String Quartet
I used the entire song White Dress by Ben Rector. But I preferred words for my processional 🙂 There’s an obvious crescendo near the end that I walked in on.
