What about, instead of putting them in a box, wrapping them in a gauzy fabric. Cut out a circle, put the candy bar in the centre, gather up the edges and tie together with a ribbon in one of your colours.
If you wait a couple weeks I bet you'll be able to get the Halloween sized O'Henry bars. I'm sure you could find boxes to fit those a heck of a lot easier!
I'd use wide but lightweight ribbon (almost as wide as the candy bar is long) to tie around with a big bow on top. Or tie on a big tissue paper pouf or something like that.
Definitely wait till you can get the smaller bars. They will be out in the stores in no time.
You can order online now :http://www.candywarehouse.com/ohhenrybars.html
Check this company out (I used them for my cupcake boxes - inexpensive and shipped super fast!)
You can dress them up w/ ribbon and a personalized sticker from etsy.com (I used Mau Productions and she was fabulous!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
As an ode to our (future) shared last name, we are planning on incorporating O Henry bars in our day, most likely as table favors. The only problem is that they can only be ordered in the full candy bar size (1.8 oz). I have no idea how to package these up to make them fit in with our formal venue... anyone know of a place I could get appropriate sized boxes?
I haven't ordered the candy bars yet, so I don't know the exact dimensions. Looked all over the internet but couldn't find it spelled out anyhere.
