Weddingbee boards

I recently moved to Chestertown MD. from Vermont. My son got engaged on New Years Eve and they want to get married here. He lives in Rochester, NY and she is finishing school in Michigan.  The wedding will be in mid July. I have heard horror stories about DJs and I am worried about the one we found. His name is Jammin Jeff, he seems nice enough but how do I know?  What is the usual arrangement. My nightmare is that he does not show up. We aren't yet committed, so if anyone knows of a good Dj in the area, I would love a name.
