I would go to Filomena's! It's in Georgetown and Italian, and all the pasta is homemade in house. It's a bit pricy (but not as bad as some places downtown). I haven't been in about 5 years, but I've recommended it to many people. At the end of your meal they give each table a complimentary caraffe of Ameretto and Zambuca, which is a nice touch. Good luck!
Try Capital Grille... Excellent food and right around the corner from the courthouse
How about Rasika or Oyamel has a nice party room in the back. Rosa Mexicana also has separate party area

My partner and I will be having a ceremony at the Moultrie Courthouse in DC on Indiana Ave. I would like to find a place within driving distance for our family and friends to celebrate afterwards. We will have a group of 15 people. I'm hoping to find a restaurant with a full bar that has lots of choices for different tastes and a semi-upscale atmosphere but not too pricey. Anyone familiar with DC and can offer suggestions for their favorite restaurants?
